Founder, Sam Nakamura, has been involved in export and import of produce for over twenty years. The Kibun Foods Inc.(Tokyo, Japan) stationed Sam to Seattle, WA. and he was with this company for eleven and half years. While He was with Kibun Foods, he handled both import and export of fresh produces from all over the world to and from Japan. He has return to US (Renton, WA) in 2004, and one year later has established his own company, Nakamura and Associates, LLC.
First year send 100 containers, Second year send 200 containers and Third year send 300 containers and year 2010 have grown to ship 1000 containers ($10million) to many countries.
Through out years, Sam has developed keen eyes for the quality and set a high standard for his clients. There are no products will leave the port without inspection to ensure the quality. Sam also communicate with suppliers regularly to check the trend and direction of industry and inform them to his customers to help make a good decisions.
Nakamura and Associates, LLC. has become one of top producers to many shipping company in year 2009 – 2010 and strived produce more for the coming season.
